About me
As a UX Designer with a background in cognitive psychology and computational neuroscience, I bring formal training in human centered design, behavioral science, programming, and mixed-methods research to every aspect of my work. Through full-time, contract, and freelance roles, I’ve made hands-on contributions to every phase of the user centered design process, garnering extensive experience in translating user research insights into actionable design requirements, mapping project objectives to strategic design decisions, and executing iterative, data-driven processes to deliver thoughtful, intuitive, end-to-end experiences that anticipate and intentionally cater to user needs.
Before pivoting into UX, I received my Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Computing from UCLA where I spent over 6 years using motion-tracking and wearable sensor technologies to investigate various cognitive and computational neuroscience phenomena across 3 interdisciplinary academic and clinical research laboratories. Working with neurodiverse individuals and underserved communities throughout that time inspired my passion for accessible and inclusive design as well as a personal motivation to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by improving their interactions with technology and with each other.
Building possibility out of ambiguity is the ultimate goal of my work, and I’m drawn to complex problem spaces that allow me to apply a data-driven approach to designing accessible products and solutions that strike the perfect balance between form and function.
